Lasted 6 months then one of the cones went out.

I liked these initially. Easy install on the rear deck of my 2000 Toyota Corolla. Then about a week ago they started sounding odd. One of them has a bad cone or magnet which makes a horrid noise on all base notes. These are hooked up to the factory Toyota stereo, so I know it's not from them being overpowered. Bummer.

Cheap boat speakers that work...

Needed a small pair of marine speakers for a jon boat I converted into a bass boat. Have these mounted in the front panel of a bench seat made of 1/2" plywood. They were very easy to mount, the included speaker wiring was easy to attach. Have them hooked up to the rear channel of a Dual 60 watt receiver and was very surprised at the quality of sound coming from them. Definitely more bass than expected and the vocals were clear. We're not going to be blasting it out on the water but it has some volume to it if we wanted to. Would I install these in a car, more than likely no, but for what we'll be using them for they sound great. Not very experienced with speaker installs, so I thought the mounting depth was the length of the speaker behind what it was being mounted to. I thought it was going to be 1.5" back from the front base of the speaker, but it was more like 2.5 or 3 (from the very front where the screws pop out of the back, not from the plywood because obviously any different size plywood would either add or subtract from the length from the back side of the plywood.) They still fit being a smaller speaker but if I ever replace them I'll have to investigate further. I used the cardboard holders the speakers came in as a template for the cutout.

They lasted about 45 days in my car, then stopped working.

Great price and work well!

I put these in some 6" PVC tube to mount on my jeep's roll bars, they are loud and clear enough to run the top down on the highway and still enjoy your music (I run somewhat loud A/T tires also). The biggest reason I purchased them was due to them being waterproof and I've run these same speakers on ATVs crossing creeks, covering them in mud, and hosing them off at the day's end with 0 issues yet. Just keep in mind these are not high end, but work well and you will not be to upset if they get hit out on the trails etc.

Good bang for your buck

I plan to use these outdoors and they are plenty loud and clear for the application. Good midrange, adequate low, but not very crisp on the high range. They won't win any awards for clarity or response, but are solidly built, come boxed securely and with spaded wires for easy installation...for $15 a pair! I'm building a suitcase boombox for plugging my iPod and tablet into. One repurposed snare drum case, four speakers and a cheap 20w powered amp and "voila" - a loud digital music boom box for less than $60.

They look great on my grill, sound grea too.

These marine speakers will never be at sea but will entertain my family by the pool.as you can see in the photo they look like the grill came from the factory with the speakers installed it. I cut the holes with a dremmel cutter.They sound great and I installed baffles on the back to boost the bass.I may buy another pair and install them right under these It may sound even better and maybe the cops will come to tell me to turn it down like they did the first sunday I used it.

Weather proof ✅

Installed two speakers about a month ago (sept 20) just before the good weather disappeared so the speakers have been well tested in the rain !!! Yet on the occasional dry day I can work outside my workshop and hear my radio with great results ????

Tienen estas bocinas un sonido muy pobre, me fui con otras reseñas que decían que estaban muy bien. No las coloque en donde quería ya que no se oirán bien. Ahí quedarán guardadas.
