Ridiculously easy!

It finally happened. Our house broken into. We had cameras all around our property to deter break ins with motion activated spotlights, but in this day and age thieves just don’t care. The crazy part was I was awake and in my living room and I have 3 dogs. None of us heard this man skulking around in my garage. I knew the cameras were not enough. I bought this system and holy wow. I was a little skeptical. Install in 30 minutes? No tools? Yeah right. But it’s true! I set the system up myself this morning. The app guides you through the process, and the peel and stick adhesives made installation a breeze. I had all 4 entry sensors, the keypad, the panic button and the siren installed in about 20 minutes. I didn’t install the motion detector yet, I haven’t found the best place for it yet, but when I do it’ll be in in less than 30 seconds. The alarm from the base is loud, but I would say not any louder than maybe your fire alarm. I added on a siren though and ooohhhh boy that thing is LOUD. I told my husband I am going to buy 10 more and line out house with them so next time, we’ll wake up the whole city ???? We haven’t signed up for the professional monitoring, but if we do, I’ll update.

This is a great security item

I love this security system. My son had this up and running in about 15 minutes. I highly recommend this to anyone. You can use this system with or without monitoring. It even has a chime for when you go in and out of the doorways. The only reason I didn't rate Tech support was because my son took care of everything for me.

Works great.

I ordered this for our house. It came when my wife was home and she decided to try to install it. Keep in mind I am her personal IT guy in all things electronic. She set it up herself and called me and said it was done. I almost passed out. She nailed it and I couldn't be more happy with this system, and I am a retired Police Officer.

Worth the price

I rent and live in a rental place & for years I have been trying to get home security system for my rental place, but most places cater to home owners only. I been relying on CCTV camera systems alone for over 10 years now, until I read about SimpliSafe. So I got this SimpliSafe unit here and it took quite awhile to set up due mostly to poor internet connections I have where I now live, but managed to get it set up in about 1 hour. I ordered several extra sensors and key fob unit that this set did not come with, but overall....I think it's worth the money. You got to load their app on your smartphone first off and take it from there. You get a choice of several monthly packages to protect your apartment or home and most get their first month for free with security protection. No doubt, well worth it and the sensors and keypads are easy to use and install. Not sure how long the battery life is for those sensors and such, but I'd give it 5 stars because for renters in the USA, there really is not many options for home security out there still.

No te permite configurar para Mexico lastima de producto, la aplicación que necesitas para configurar alertas no es válida para Mexico. No la recomiendo para uso en Mexico.

Facilísima de instalar

Literalmente simplemente sacas las piezas de las cajas, retiras la protección de las baterías y listo... Diseño super intuitivo, todo se sujeta con adhesivos (o con tornillos opcionalmente). El monitoreo, bueno, sin monitoreo no tienes acceso ni a la App ni al website y por ende tampoco recibes notificaciones en caso de activarse, pero funciona a modo local y se presume que es suficiente para espantar a los rateros o por lo menos alertar a los vecinos quienes te llamarán para que calles la chicharra, ja ja.

Buen producto pero su app necesita mejorar

Todo muy bien en cuanto a la calidad del producto, la instalación, y su uso básico, el problema está en qué si no vives en Estados Unidos tendrás algunos problemas al usar la app: A la hora de escribir la dirección donde está instalada la alarma solo te salen listados estados de Estados Unidos, lo mismo sucede al especificar el teléfono de contacto, no aceptará un teléfono de otro país. Independientemente de que se contrate o no el servicio de monitoreo, la app debería estar preparada para configurarse en otro país.
