Good, but Disappointing

Bought this to replace an expired V-gard full brim. Loved that thing. Thought that since the previous one fit perfectly, one of these would as well. It definitely fits. The fit is actually better because the hat is slightly wider than the full brim. I love the head lamp clips as well. Got mine on sale for $40. Amazing price because the shelf life was expired. Luckily they last 5 years of use after two years of storage. My problem with this hat is the harness. It is simply unacceptable for a helmet that normally costs $120. It refuses to stay on my head. The two pivots make this thing useless. I work entirely overhead in ceilings. I have to look up all day. Yet, the moment I look up, the helmet slides in any direction it chooses. Doesn't matter how tight to put it because the two pivots mean that the tension you apply will slide in different directions and work against you. But I have solutions. First, and most easily, swap the suspension for a fast-trac III from a normal hard hat. No problems after that. Second, you have to apply velcro to the inside of the suspension behind the sweat band. Part of the problem is the sweat band sliding. the other part is the pivots moving. The nape pivot is welcome, but the height pivot can be fixed by placing a plastic rivet in a small 1/8" hole that is present on the suspension above the pivot arm. This prevents it from sliding up and off of your head. After these, with light tension on the suspension, The helmet will remain on my head upside down, shaking vigorously, without the chinstrap. If MSA did this from the beginning, it would be a fantastic five-star product. For now, it remains three because I had to modify a $120 helmet to make it stay on my head.

There is a reason you don't see many pictures of people wearing this hardhat. Really sits high.

Sits very high on the head. Looks a little weird. Extremely comfortable. Vents and helmet design really make it much cooler temperature wise that a regular hardhat. Well made, just wish it sat lower on my head.

Speed racer hard hat

Love my hard hat. Very practical with attachments. Gets a laugh or Two until they realize how practical it is.

Seems small for my head and doesn't sit right. Chin strap seems to be to far back as well.

Not the comfiest hard hat I've bought. Will probably get another kask hard hat next time as they are a better fit.

Excelente, cumple con lo establecido...

Por lo regular siempre que evaluó un producto, lo hago por lo menos después de un mes de uso, para corroborar, en este caso no hizo falta, me llego el día lunes, 3 días antes de lo acordado. Haciendo la revisión detallada del producto y del material del cual esta hecho, puedo decir que me siento muy satisfecho con la compra, los materiales son bastante resistentes y el casco en si, es muy cómodo, es ideal para el uso rudo en construcciones o en seguridad de protección civil. La razón por la cual lo evaluó tan pronto es porque el día de hoy martes, que estoy escribiendo esto, estando en el trabajo, me cayo una placa de metal en la cabeza y no me paso absolutamente nada a mi ni al caso, es por eso que decidí reseñar este mismo día del incidente.

MUY BUEN CASCO

Muy buena calidad. Se siente más grueso y con más protección que los cascos estándard. El arnés tienen un silbato integrado. El soporte en la frente es textil. El soporte para la nuca con la matraca es abatible y se puede guardar dentro del casco sin tener que desarmarlo. Es genial para interiores y alturas.

Super Passform und Tragecomfort

Anfangs wollte ich mich nicht so recht mit diesem Helm anfreunden und ihn auch stornieren. Aber bei besseren einstellen und anpassen bei der Arbeit, möchte ihn diesen niemals gegen ein anderen austauschen wollen Die Farbe grün ist Geschmackssache, ist mir persönlich egal, sitzt ja auf dem Kopf drauf! Sicherheit geht vor schützt euren Kopf egal wie es ausschaut!
