Best hand steamer ever

This is the best hand steamer I have ever had. I work in the fashion industry and I’m used to using a large Jiffy steamer at work. I have had six different hand steamers at home and continue to buy and try and return little steamers to use each morning on my outfits. Finally one of my Showroom vendors had one of these in his back room. I tried it there and went home and ordered it immediately. It heats up fast and puts out a large amount of steam quickly with great power. It is not slow and wimpy on the flow like others. The small tank isn’t exactly difficult to work with but it’s a little more time consuming, by that I mean one minute, than others but it’s worth it for the steaming power. I also love that you can switch it in place to stop steaming, sit it down for a few minutes while you change the garments, pick it back up and switch it back to steaming. Most steamers continue to produce steam and you cannot stop the flow. I would say I’m pretty much a steaming expert. I run fashion merchandising crews who do nothing but steam for big name designers for eight hours a day. If I am pleased with this you should know that it’s a good one.

You must be patient.

The first start takes a few minutes. Heating up and all that. Therefore, you might not see steam for a few seconds. I read and followed all instructions. When you mix water and electricity, it just sounds bad. I have two shirts that refuse to "not" wrinkle. So I said, good practice items. Hung them up and steamed away. After about two minutes each, I shut down to cool down. Then I gave them each two more minutes. I could see that most of the wrinkles had softened but were still visible. Here is the kicker, two days later my husband went for his shirt, it was wrinkle-free. I checked my blouse, wrinkle-free I love this machine. .

Efficient and easy to use

A hotel we stayed had these instead of your standard iron and it was so convenient that I had to purchase one for home. Super easy to use, steams really fast. Only down side is that it is bulky so it takes up a lot of space if needed to travel

Great product but did not work when I received it

The only complaint I have is that my product did not initially work, and made this dry rotor sound when I would press the steam button. I had to investigate the issue, and found a troubleshooting video that recommended using canned air to clear the internal tubes. After doing this, it started steaming correctly. I am unsure whether this is a manufacturing issue or if this is a problem that might happen again in the future. Hopefully not.

A steamer that doesn’t …well…steam…

After waiting an astronomical time for this product to arrive (I know It’s coming from stateside to the UK but maybe give more accurate lead times - we’ve used the product literally twice and now it doesn’t work. It just keeps making a clicking sound but no steam and what’s better just dribbled boiling water all over my foot from where the steam is meant to come out. Contacted Layger Customer Service And get a completely generalised “it’s out of 30 day Amazon’s return policy - sorry for any inconvenience” . Wow great help guys - my scolded foot thanks you. Appreciate you sending me a defective item and giving absolutely zero advice or a competent answer for taking my money

It great for thinner clothes than thick.

I like it the reason i gave it 4 is because iy doesnt do mich a good job on cotton shirts and any other shirts it does perfect on silk and poly.But otherwise its a good purchase.

Not Compitable with INDIA

Over all this Product is Excellent but not compatible with all countries with 230 v supply. Technical specification does not mention that this product is 120V . This product is not suitable for INDIA. and using this product with convertor is a costly affair as other product are available at much cheaper rates
