Didn’t cut very well

The cheaper one that shrink quickly cut much better than this one. I went back to using them.

A solid cutting wheel, but expensive.

Part of me thinks that the old fiberglass reinforced wheels can cut just as good, even if you have to go throuhg several to cut metal. You can buy a lot more of them for the price of one of these metal ones. That being said, I find the fiberglass wheels die quickly and get really hot (and cut much slower). I recommend that you use the cheaper ones for non-metalic cuts, but keep this wheel for heavy-duty cutting - cutting hard metal with this cuttingwheel goes a lot faster and with less heat buildup. I also find original Dremel parts work much better than imitations.

I just keeps going

This doesn't cut as well as the traditional disks but it does seem to cut forever. I'm going to keep going and see how long this thing lasts.

Wonderfully sharp Dremel metal cutting wheel

Please note this must be used with the EZ-Lock mandrel. I already had this from prior jobs, so not an issue, but I could see someone being disappointed by not realizing a special mandrel is required. This cuts through metal like butter. That being said, I have also used other Dremel brand metal cut-off discs and I am not sure that this works that much better than them though it seems like it will definitely last longer. Considering that this costs $25 and you can get a 12 pack of the normal metal cut-off discs for $28, I am not sure this will last 12 times longer but the company claims it lasts 20x longer, so only time will tell. I can say it does work really well based on my initial use. I am only rating it 4 stars instead of 5 because I feel like it might be slightly overpriced in comparison to the other cut off discs they sell. If you find it on sale, I would definitely recommend it.
