Fits a turtle shell style hard hat too.

I have a turtle shell style hard hat that covers the back of my neck but, with it being so hot this style of extension with a drape for your neck makes it even better. There's an elastic band that goes on the underside of the lip of the hard hat and it was a tight fit to get this on my hat but, it does fit. So this was the best FR rated sun shade that I have found and I do prefer the shade that comes with the drape that further blocks sun from your neck.

I wish it was longer

mounted to my full brim hard hat just fine. it felt like it offered a decent level of shade but any work where I had to look down the bottom of the neck shade was higher than my collar and left a spot exposed. But I am tall and have a big neck

The Best

Great protection from the sun. I haven't got a sunburn and I ordered several more for my co-workers. Very light. Will be ordering a lot more in the future.

Bought this to fit over my round hard hat. It fit well enough and hasnt slipped off but I think that it would better suit a normal brimmed hard hat. My hat style bends the fabric and caused the elastic to slide up the and out of place. The sun protection is decent but you will find your face will still be exposed to sun Especially the sides and the cheeks. It
