Leaking at the seem

Happybuy Swimming Pool Pump 2.5HP 1850W 148GPM Single Speed Filter for Spa Water Circulation Above Ground, 148 GPM / 1500W works for my 16 × 32 swimming pool. I have it hooked up to a sand filter, Intex chlorine generator filter with 2" pvc piping in and out. The only problem I am having is the pump is leaking at the seems between the motor and the filter basket section. This is my second pump, because I had the same problem with the first one before this one. I hoping customers service can help me with this issue because I really like this pump, otherwise I will have to return this one as well.

Decent ppool pump!

Pump started working out fine but about 3 week after normal use started making an unusual humming noise that has persisted during the remainder of the summer. Not sure if I 'd buy again.

Nice pump!

This thing is almost too powerful. If there is a thing! I h e 1-1/2 inch pool hoses. This thing runs almost 20 psi. Ridiculous amount of power and volume. This is first season used, so I may come and edit after next season. So far I am impressed. Not too expensive. Texas heat hasn’t tripped it yet. And it’s pretty easily adaptable to any filter system.

Great pump. Mainly used for above ground pool. Inground pool is good but not enough power for hot tub spa

Pain to connect to existing pipes

Seems like a pretty powerful pump for 110. Instillation was a nightmare had to use 1 1/2 inch pvc to go inside the fitting that came with it and then upsize it to the 2 inch pipe. Will see how well it does in a little bit but the power is pretty good for the price if it lasts.

Good in the beginning

When I first connected it was awesome! Its been 2 months and now it isn’t pushing as good. I’m trying to find out if it had some type of warranty.

It IS NOT FOR INGROUND POOLS !!! - IT's quiet. Well built BUT NOT FOR INGROUND POOLS

Although the description says inground pools. It does not work. It did not self prime - with over 10 minutes of water being poured in it, hence filling the pipes. Although very quiet and I must say looked well built. I would not suggest this pump for inground pools. Too bad because would have been a great value/price pump.
