Just ok

The vacuum still gets stuck but not as often. It needs to be an inch taller.

Ok for non winged

Does not work with "winged" sweepers. Needed to tie some material on the flat parts (inclined shape) so that the sweeper's wings would coast over the bumper and move on.

Very easy to install and works perfect in keeping pool cleaner from getting stuck on main drain.

Not quite right

The product does not work like it says. I had to drill holes on each side and secure using zip ties. After reinstalling the drain cover with this product on it. My pool cleaner does not get stuck. So it doesn’t work that way, but it is a pain to install.

Bumper Works Well

These bumpers work very well. Clips on the underside of the large piece snap into corresponding holes in the drain cover. The rubber insert goes in from the bottom. It may work by itself to keep your vacuum from becoming high-centered. I stuck a 1.5-foot length of 1.5" PVC pipe into it as my vacuum still managed to get high-centered even with the bumper in place. W'eve found the clips last about three years in our intense Belizean sunlight.
