Great quality!

This is a great box for a modem and wiring. The build quality is solid and is nicely finished. It can fit in a home. Does not look too commercial. I definitely recommend it.

4 stars 'cause cover too small!

Read and believe the reviews! I, like a bunch of other reviewers would've given this enclosure 5 stars BUT the cover doesn't fit! No way, no how! So, what I came up with what is shown in the pic. There is a piece of cardboard that comes inside the enclosure. I wrapped that in white duct tape (because who doesn't have multiple rolls of it laying around) put it back turned around. It's a perfect fit because it's from the original packaging. So yes, I would recommend this enclosure but buy it knowing the cover won't fit and having a plan to work around that.

Good value, some issues.

14x14 cabinet: The cover arrived bent (lower right corner) and the screws way are too big. Very little clearance around installation of outlet so either buy the manufacturer surge protector (expensive), a small power strip, or rotating outlets if you have a 90 degree power adapter. Other than that it was a breeze to install recessed. Like others have states would have been nice if it came with gaskets for the in/out holes.

Perfect Enclosure for alarm system

For the reviews that say the screws are too big; they are tapping screws that will make the thread as they go in. Had no issues using the included screws to install the panel.

Huge holes

20" box with cover. It's a nice box, but it inexplicably has three 2 1/2" holes on one end. Nice if you planned on cabling a warehouse, but for home use, they're overkill and need to then be plugged to keep dust out. Worse, there aren't any smaller, more useful sized knockouts for conduit anywhere. The opposite size has some square cutouts, which also aren't all that useful IMHO. Seems like a poor design decision to me and adds to my costs to actually utilize this thing. Frankly, if my cabling job wasn't getting held up waiting for this box, I'd send it back and try to find something more useful and adaptable for a home installation.

I probably don’t use it when it’s needed for

I needed a place to store my modem in my garage and I put this in the wall and stuck the modem in there and ran my cable to it good for that.

Good enclosure but can't install the cover.

The enclosure is fine - as advertised. I have it installed in the wall with my patch panel and ethernet switch mounted, only to find out it was supplied with the wrong screws to attach the cover. A trip to the hardware store is needed to finish the job.

Well built & Functional

It was very easy to install, came with many knock-out options for various cables and conduits. Very solid build, and parts fit nicely.
