Nice sleeve for gardening

This is a nice sleeve that you can use for gardening. The thumb strap is a bit awkward and bulky - not sure I would actually use this under my gardening gloves. So far it seems to help with the random cuts along my arm, especially during pruning sessions. I don't have a need for it to be super tough, but we will see as time goes on. The sleeve is a bit tight through the arm and near my elbow and I have rather slender wrists/forearms; my husband would not be able to wear this at all. Overall I like the product, but would only recommend to smaller framed individuals.

Fits perfect!

Whether protecting your arms from working outside or to protect and cover area, this sleeve works great! Thick quality and very snug fit, to keep your arm protected. Very good quality

Great arm cover

Every year in the Spring, we trim back our grass plants. It’s a fairly big job since we have 8, and all are at least 5’ - 6’ tall and just as wide. Each year I have tried long sleeved shirts and different types of gloves. Each year I still end up with scratches up and down my arms. Gloves allow pieces of grass inside, gloves don’t stay on well, sleeves pull up, sleeve material can be too thin, and rubber bands hurt. These sleeves, being advertised as protection against cuts, should be a great addition to protecting my arms during our Spring cleanup. These gloves fit well, not too tight. These cover my hands, just barely covering my fingers, and goes all the way up to my elbows. This particular sleeve has an elastic loop for the thumb, which I really like. This will aid in preventing the sleeve from being pushed past my hand when putting on a long sleeve shirt and my work gloves. I’ll have great protection when gathering and cutting grass plants this year! The did order a second sleeve, the same length and same great fit, but it didn’t include the elastic thumb loop. I plan to add my own elastic loop. These sleeves will be a godsend. Recommended.

Not heavy duty, but offers some protection

This works well to protect you from cutting yourself if there isn't a ton of pressure on the object or from a burn if you touch a hot surface quickly but it isntbgoing to protect you from punctures or continues contact with a hot surface. This isn't Kevlar or anything close to it but it will protect your skin from minor cuts & burns. I'm other words if you have light exposure to heat or if a knife slips without too much force, you should be protected. It's not going to stop a puncture wound or burn from extreme heat.

MAGID KEV9-ET CutMaster Machine Knit 9" to 21" Sleeves with Thumb Strap (1 Sleeve) First impressions: The material is thick, the sewing looks good. The thumb strap is just a piece of elastic sewn in but it is serviceable. Installation/setup: Wear on forearm to prevent scratches and burns. Final thoughts: I got this to wear on my forearm while I use chicken wire to make props and displays for Halloween. I tend to get small scrapes and cuts from the wire as I am shaping it. This is a thick fabric and I used a sharp knife on it and some kitchen scissors and didn’t see any difference in the surface. It fits my arm well, but I have thin wrists and I’m not sure my husband would be able to wear it. It works well for my purposes and I’m glad I got it. ⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

Good for pruning thorny bushes.

I’d say my arms are slightly larger than the average male adult and the 18 inch sleeve reaches about an inch beyond my elbow. While in use, the sleeve stays in place except for the wider end that has a tendency to slide down to my elbow. The sleeve is comfortable enough to wear now during the cooler months of the year. But I can imagine how warm & sweaty this sleeve will get when the temperatures outside go up. I usually have a glove over my hand before I slip this sleeve on. Without a glove on, the 3/4 inch wide elastic strap feels bothersome where it makes contact with my skin. This sleeve is good for pruning thorny outdoor bushes, especially when I need to poke my arm to reach inner stem’s & branches. Also protected me from my dog’s nails. I still haven’t tried washing this sleeve since it’s still new so I will provide an update if & when needed.

Very comfortable and able to use for both arms

This Sleeve has a nice thumb strap, the sleeve is very long, it covers all the way down to a little bit past the elbow and can be used on both left and right arms.
