MAINTAINING LIVE BAIT

I like that the bait will stay alive and the low a drain on the battery, used 2 days in a row fishing never charged battery.

Does a great job supplying air

Does a great job supplying air. I like that it runs off a 12 volt marine battery saving the high cost of D batteries. Filter does it's job bet must be kept clean.

Ok but I expected more

Sealed real well in the bait well bucket but if you completely filled the 12 gal bucket it would not supply enough air only can fill the bucket 3/4 full and get full flow of air

fish stocking

got it for transporting fish stock to pond, 100 mile trip with very little loss of fish life more from trauma then lack of O2.

Swiming not floating is good.

Minnie's are expensive and keeping them alive is just what this aerator will do for you.

Poor engineering. Unsuitable materials for intended use.

This thing is basically worthless and because I had it for so long prior to actually using it, I am unable to return it. The bearing at the bottom of the aerator wears out the soft stainless steel shaft in a few hours and it gets so loud that you can hear it over the outboard. I even shortened the tube, cut the shaft and repaired it, once. It worked for about the same length of time that the original configuration did. Whatever you do, don't waste your money on this. I don't know what a "long time" is to some people but to me, it's days and weeks. Not hours.I would say this lasted +/- 12 hours before I had to repair it. Total waste of money. If it cost 10 bucks I wouldn't bother writing a review and rarely do. Fair warning.
