Super fun!

I bought this for my son for Christmas. He loves trains and I thought this would be a good introduction as our local library has a similar one. He loves to string all the cars together and make them go around the track. I highly recommend getting the Melissa and Doug train table to go with this. I found one used on FB Marketplace but the new ones are decently priced too. The table is large enough to put all of the layouts on the sheet that comes with this on there and it gets you up off the floor a bit! Great colors, wheels on some of the cars seem a little looser than others. The magnet in the crane could be just a little bit stronger but it serves its purpose.

Tracks great trains ok

So many possibilities for track layouts! Love all the elevations and bridges. The elevations do fall a lot but photo mount stickers help with that. The trains aren’t my favorite. The magnets aren’t strong and the wheels are too far apart for tight turns. We use these tracks but Thomas trains.

Classic gift for any little one

Toddler LOVES these! Easy to play with and store. The little ones been growing with his train set. From learning how to magnets attach, to assembling tracks!

Nice gift for my little brothers b-day

My 5 year old brother loves this set. Got it for him for his 5th birthday and he's a big fan. It seems very high quality I was very impressed. High quality wooden pieces! Overall very happy with my prime day purchase.

Good quality but not very sturdy for a kids toy.

I bought this set for my son who loves trains. I was super excited to get it and set it up. My son wanted a certain configuration, however, I can only do one with the recommended table so that's the only one we can try. It has a large section of track that is elevated and it only has small braces to hold it up. Most of my son's play time is spent in frustration because they're so unstable and constantly fall over and his track falls apart. I think we spend more time putting it back together and adjusting it back onto the table than actually playing. Overall it's a solid wood train set and nicely made but it isn't sturdy enough for fun playtime for a toddler...

Safe and sturdy for my young grandchildren

Melisa and Doug are products well known in children toys. Our five year old grandson opened the box (hardest part of using toy) and had it ready to play with in less than 20 minutes. He loves it and is safe enough to share with his 1yr old brother. It will last long enough to be used by several generations.

Not Impressed! Poor quality for the high price!

The track connects very loosely and comes apart too easily. Magnets are very weak. Crane magnets don’t even work. Disappointed with this purchase.
