Didn’t fit

Need to check gap between bumper and RV. Mine didn’t have enough clearance. Looks like it would work well on other Rv’s

Bike rack

Works great on camper and two bikes. Very easy to install.

Does the Job. But could be little better.

The brackets distributes the mount points across the rear bumper, Unlike the hitch type racks with a single trailer hitch slot. This hitch type slot connection can cause more shake and torque stress on thinner gauges bumpers. The downside is that the rack is not removable. I had to adjust the Left and Right racks so that my bike wheels fit into the tire slots. Again I liked this design, because the bikes were secure and bounced less than the 2 hook or single hook clamp racks. One of the racks has a vertical Extension that keeps side stress off the bike wheels, when stopping or starting. I wish both racks had the extension. I attached a 12 inch i bolt through the provided hole on the extension, So that I could strap down the bikes, I still needed to use several bungie cords to secure the bikes. The 2 hook and single hook clamp racks are a lot easier to tie down bikes. The bumper Racks are superior than bike racks attached to the RV Ladder, because it easier putting bikes on and you can position the rack in a place that the Bikes do not stick out. On my 5th wheel my water heater is located close to the RV ladder, when I used the ladder style rack, The bikes were always in the way (My water heater had a external on/off switch to when I want to use the electric heater instead of gas.

Doesn’t fit my RV’s bumper

The u bolts included with this rack are half the height needed to fit my RV’s bumper, so I don’t know if this product works… I couldn’t get it started! Frustrating.

Installed myself

Easy to install and I’m a 64 year old female. It had apparently been opened by someone else as the plastic bag with the nuts and bolts was open. Got it on my camper bumper. Had to remove spare but there is plenty of room for bike and tire to be mounted. Will be able to use for cooler or storage box if not taking bike.

doesn't interfere with my tow bar

This is a sturdy bike rack. I needed something that did not interfere when towing my trailer or car. I have a clamp on ball mount type bike carrier which did not have enough vertical clearance. This rack elevates the bike tires well above my tow bar or trailer ball mount without any problems. There was minor issues which I was able to overcome. The wheel slots closest to my RV were not wide enough for my wife's beach cruiser bike, but were perfect for my mountain bike. I wanted to put the heavier bike on the inside (closest to the motorhome) for less stress on the bumper/bike carrier. I cut one of the bars out of each tire carrier and rewelded it to accommodate the wider beach cruiser tires. Now the Electra beach cruiser fits snugly into the inside tire slots and stands securely on its own.

Solid and simple design is sometimes best

It states 30 lbs per bike, so like an idiot I stood on each section and jumped up and down to test the limits of it's and my bumpers capacity to withstand 215 lbs of idiot + downward pressure from said idiot. I declare this product idiot proof. Well made and well done by our good friends in Canada. Many ask how to secure the bike to the rack. On the back of the right section, behind my seat post, is a J pole with an attachment hole at the top. I attach the hook from my strap to that then over my top bar and hook it to the section below , my strap is the red one running across the bike, holding it solid and immovable.
