Get what you pay for

I have to wear a belt for work and my previous one that lasted years finally needed new leather. I bought this in Hope's it would be nearly as good. You get what you pay for! Within 2 days the buckle was scratched (I have a desk job). But worse is getting it to release!! I find I have to push the leather towards the buckle while releasing the clamp and eventually I can get it to open. I think I saved my old ratchet buckle and will see if I can use it on this leather. If you can only afford this one, it's okay. But I plan on going for the better quality in the very near future.

Custom fit - what a great idea

My husband is always complaining about the holes in belts. They are either too loose or too tight depending on the hole. He has a leather punch so that he can make his own holes. So this was a great find!!! And it's designed well, with little ridges that keep the belt from slipping once you have cinched it to the right place. Really good idea and all belts should be this way!!!

My husband took this belt on a golf trip he went on last weekend. The gift box it comes in is attractive and nice. The belt was easy to trim and has a very sleek look to it. His only complaint is that sometimes when he is putting it on he has trouble getting the belt to catch on the ridges. He thinks this is because his stomach pushes on the release lever, so he has to be aware of this when buckling. No problems with it releasing during wear, just when putting it on initially.

Trim to your measurement

This is a really cool idea! I love the fact that you can trim off the right amount of belt to fit your size. My husband is a size 38 waist so I trimmed it to a 40. There are lines on the inside of the belt with measurements which makes trimming super easy. The cut end slips into the belt buckle and there is a clasp with teeth that you close to get a secured bond between the two. Another cool feature is there are ridges on the inside of the belt so when you put it on the belt buckle stays put, similar to a zip tie. To disengage the ridges, there is a small lever that you push and the buckle comes free. I really like this belt! It's slick looking and very heavy duty.
