It works!

It was not a great fit at first but eventually we got it to sit right. It was super rough to get it to open and close for the first week or so but now works great! Overall I'm happy with it and it was a great price but took lots of patience to install and to operate smoothly.

Excellent replacement! Add grease

These are really easy to replace. It was a little stiff at first so I sprayed white lithium grease on the lock after I installed it and it is now working great!

Fit as it should

Fits good , be sure to look at YouTub on how to install. Note— do not remove two mounting screws without first holding locking latch hook with vice grips. If you don’t, it will fall down inside your door. Do same to reinstall new unit.

Perfect fit lock

The lock is inset in my sliding door. It is a perfect fit into the door frame and lines up perfectly with the exterior screws.

Great Sliding Door Replacement Lock with Accurate Dimensions

I saw the dimensions listed for this lock. I assumed that, if they were accurate, I'd have to file 1/32 of material off of one edge. Sure enough, when it arrived, with a little bit of filing, it fit my application perfectly. No further adjustment to the lock was required for a tight, secure, and positive lock. I'm very satisified with this lock.

Close to the original....

A bit misaligned with the old frame which puts pressure in the mechanism and makes it tougher to operate than the original. A second one came as open box and missing screws so I'll return it because I paid for new. All in all, it works as an average product.
