Works as advertised

Worked just as it was suppose to. Laid it out in front of my back door that has drain overflow issues and forgot about it for about 1.5 years until today. constant rain backed up my drainage system and rain water overflowed into my basement. I checked to see if any water came in, sure enough the product worked flawlessly as it swelled up and blocked excess water from the clogged drain. Definitely buying more for future severe weather occurrences.

Worked Great

I got these just in time when the 1 foot snow pack on my roof was thawing and dripping over the roof gutters above the basement window wells. I bought some slanted covers for the wells and put these bags around the bottom of the plastic covers. They stopped the water that was welling up around the window wells. I'm now buying more in case I have some water problems develop in another area of my house, not due to the snow on the roof. I cannot carry sandbags, but these are light enough when they are still dry to put in the needed places.

Great product

Came in clutch during spring thaw and rains. Amazing how quick they worked and how well they held back water. Gave us a chance to get a sump in the water and divert it elsewhere. Every professional homeowner needs a few on hand!

Works...Once!

Pros: Works as described. Absorbs water well. Stopped the flow of water into the house. Cons: Took a month to dry out. Did not absorb the water the second time around. Summary: Very expensive single use water control device.

Quick Dam

I bought two of these Quick Dams for my back door. I have experience two floods in the last 5 years and wanted something to stop the water getting under the door. I have put one on top of the other outside the door being held down by a brick each side. They have done as they are supposed of done, and swell with the rain fall but I cannot at this time say whether they will stop the water from coming under the door without flood conditions, which I hope I don't experience again.

The perfect solution to those heavy rains. Now that I know about reusing them I would never go without. I dried them out over a few weeks on the lawn and have packed the up for next year. Light weight and easy to store yet they d a job that is second to none. Sand bags are such a pain, heavy and mess when you are done with them. These are compact, easy to store and fast and simple to use. I even took one and cut it into smaller units, sewed up the side and have them for smaller places. Came home to a flooded bathroom and used to soak up some of the water oin the corners till everything was fixed. Plan on telling all my neighbors and friends my simple solution
