Looks like it will do the trick . . . The big missing thing is

1. It could use a couple more internal pockets to make it really functional. Not many, but one or two. 2. The mesh on the side that holds a water bottle is not condusive to keeping the bottle IN the pouch. I am going to have to figure out a way to attaching the bottle to the backpack so if it falls out, which it is very prone to do, it will not fall to the ground and be gone . 3. There are NO ways to attach things to the outside of the pack. Bandanas, a small compass, carabiner, baseball cap. The product is clean and neat, but missing these external attachment connections is frustrating to someone who has traveled the world with regular backpacks. To it’s credit, I love the security of the walls of the pack and the straps. As a day pack, I am sure it will do for a 3 week tour across Europe.

No issues at all

Bought this backpack to ward off thieves while traveling abroad in an area known for heavy pick pocketing. Being able to hook the zippers was a great feature and worked well. I bet the other reviews stating the bag ripped where the zippers connect were trying to dig inside the bag while one of the zippers was still attached. When I did it, I noticed it was pulling heavily on the material. Just unhook both ends to keep from damaging the bag and it’ll be fine. The wire mesh lining was palpable and seemed to be sufficient to withstand a slash and grab. Same goes for the straps that are stated to be slash resistant. Please note this bag is smaller than a standard size laptop bag. Perfect for holding a jacket, compact umbrella, and a 32oz stainless water bottle which is what I carried in it every day for a week (amongst some snacks and souvenir purchases intermittently) . I recommend this product and am glad I bought it for our trip.

Holds a lot.

The upper portion of the bag is pretty thin. I was good for the lightweight feature but made getting things in and out a little difficult at times. In spite of that I put this bag to good use during a recent trip to Europe. I was able put a lightweight fleece blanket as well as a small purse, Kindle, phone, water bottles and several more items in it. It will be one of my favorite travel items in the future. Even though I probably overfilled it, it showed no sign of tearing or damage. It also folds down for packing. The security features add some comfort when in crowds. No bag can provide complete security.

Lightweight and comfortable

We love this backpack. It is made of a very lightweight material and doesn’t feel heavy even when it’s filled with stuff. The locking part on the zipper is a great bonus and helped us feel more comfortable while on vacation.

Lightweight and roomy

The backpack shape can't be beat for space and roominess. Yet the material is lightweight so my back is saved! I like the zipper pocket is straight and deep so if I forget to close it all the way, contents still won't spill out. I love travelon!

Brilliant bag for everyday and holidays

Bought this for my husband for his birthday, ever since then it is the only ruck sack he will ever use. He loves the way the zips locks and the size it folds down to and when opened the size of it can take his iPad, sweater, umbrella, phone and drink etc.. in other words very roomy.

Slash resistant my a**

This backpack is very small. It's flimsy, I'm sure it's made in China. There is NO cable wire in the straps. These positive reviews are probably all fake. For the price I truly expected more. I'm new to Amazon and am slowly finding out 90% of things are cheap crap from China being sold at a higher price. I bought my first backpack from Amazon, it's flimsy crap so I took a chance and ordered this one, and it's even worse. I'm going on a month long trip to Asia soon and if I only had time to return it and get another one I would, but I don't. I'm on the Amazon Prime free trial right now and there's no way in feel I'm subscribing. I'm so upset about this backpack. I really wish I'd spent the extra money on a brand name. Lesson learned.

Not durable and safe. What I was not expecting at all

I have 3 travelon bags I bought from different stores, but this one is what disappointed me. Only the front-bottom that packs the whole bag is the “travelon signature” slash resistant. The rest are easy for thieves to slash. Even the materials made for this one is not good quality. I’ll be returning this one. I was excited to open the box when I received it, only to be disappointed in the end.

Very flimsy, comparable to windbreaker material.

The bag obviously is stuffed in the photo. The material is like a windbreaker material and is very flimsy so it doesn’t have the shape as in the photo. Disappointing.

Perfect for traveling. Safe. Easy to secure.

I love this pack. Lightweight, easily folds up for storage, convenient, easy to clip/unclip but not easy for a thief to undo, safe, good security. I traveled all around Greece with this and loved it. I carted my DSLR camera and small purse without worry. Also fit in a light sweater, sunscreen, snacks, and water bottle and still had room for small purchases. I will take it on every trip now.
