Great hat!

This does everything I want it to do: sun protection, big visor that stays down or up, adjustable fit, sturdy yet foldable. Way better than the others which, ok, cost less, but really are worth less. How about more colors??!?!

The hat fits great - not too tight or lose and does not blow off with wind even with running. The brim size is just what I wanted to provide more protection than usual baseball caps and yet, doesn't impair vision. I only gave this a 4, rather than 5, stars because the fabric is a course weave canvas and I wish it was a finer weave and/or softer fabric, and also the colors are boring and not particularly flattering. (Why not blues, greens, yellows, grays, etc?) The tan color is a warm (yellow-tint) beige - rather than preferred "cool" beige, but it is at least functional for sun protection.

Great coverage for your face

I have had this hat for years and just ordered the second one. It's perfect to shade your face and the zip off top is a plus to make it a visor. I love this hat.

Dissappointed

this is the fourth time I've ordered this hat. It used to arrive in a box perfectly shaped. This time it arrived crumpled up in a flat package. It was so wrinkled I've had to steam press it to look halfway decent. The cap portion of it, is smaller than the previous ones. Very disappointing.

So, it's not the cutest hat but it does protect you from the sun. I do long hikes and need to keep the sun off my face. I've tried just about every hat you can imagine. This one works well because you can remove the top cap with the zipper and then wear the hat as a visor which I like better so that your head doesn't get hot. I'd make it 5 stars if they could make it a bit more stylish.

Did not meet my expectations

I have very long and thick hair. When i pulled my hair up in a bun, the cap did not fit. If i were to remove the top, it would have. But that defeated my purpose.mif i were to let my har down, it would have been OK. So i returned it.

Packs well

This is not the most attractive hat honestly but I loved it this summer! I bought it for a trip to Italy in which I knew I'd be outside for hours everyday. It provides shade for my whole face and I like that I can unzip the top to allow air for my head.

Great hat, but needs improvments.

This hat has great sun coverage, and I found it really comfortable to wear. The downside is the material inside the brim is super cheap. It came folded up, and it left a huge permanent bend in the brim.
