Adapters? They charge so much for them if you want to make it a double :( Still worth it… love the warranty and customer service from this company so it does make up for the pricing.

First time parent Travel hack

First time parent here! Spent several hours logistically planning how my wife and I were gonna navigate a busy airport with a stroller and car seat for our upcoming trip. We will be traveling with a 4 month old and needed to make sure that we were able to easily have our hands free if needed ; instead of lugging the car seat attached to one of our suitcases and or attached to our backs. The car seat will be used on the airplane and we needed a way to safely transport it through the airport to the plane. The pairing demonstrated in the picture are the upper and lower attachment’s by UPPAbaby. This configuration is great for our family as we will be able to utilize the stroller seat as the primary on the stroller, and the car seat in a stored position to be able to transport it through security (TSA) without lugging it on our backs and or attached to our luggage.

Necessary for double stroller conversion

No fault of the product, but we had no idea you needed the extenders when we bought the stroller. Easy to install and remove. Really great for the double stroller capabilities.

A must have if you want to have two seats installed on the Vista

I have had the Vista stroller for a couple of years now and love it for an only child. Now with the addition of a new baby, I bought the rumble seat (3 yo and new baby) so I can fit two together. Some people might feel that a 3 yo should be out of a stroller at this age. However, if you live in a neighborhood where you can walk to a lot of places (parks, restaurants), it's totally worth it to get the rumble seat so both kids can sit comfortably in the stroller when you go on longer walks. I initially tried to stack the seats without this upper adaptor. While this is possible, it's not practical. The toddler in the upper seat can still sit very comfortably, but there is very little space between the upper and lower seats. You are not squishing the child in the rumble seat without it, but I don't think it would be comfortable to have the back of another seat so close to your face. With the upper adaptor in place, it is a little more difficult for the older child to climb up since the seat is higher, but once they are in the seat, it feels very sturdy. I do wish this could be included with the Vista already since you do pay a fair amount for the stroller system already, that's the only reason I'm giving this product 4 stars instead of 5, not because of the product quality. As an aside, if you are also looking at the lower adaptor, I do not think that is a necessary piece to add to your Vista system. It's only really useful if you have twins so you can have two carseats or two bassinets stacked. Otherwise, it seems ridiculous to have the bassinet on the bottom where you can't see the newborn. The rumble seat comes with its own lower adaptor that is included, and only fits the rumble seat. In my experience, with the infant insert, you can start putting a baby as young as 1 month into the rumble seat in a reclined position.

It works

Just as described, upper adapter works. Just be careful buying the lower adapter, if you are buying this item then you’re buying the lower adapter aswell. Lower adapter wont work on original toddler seat. You must buy a seperate seat that is compatible with lower adapter.

We use these adapters to bring baby closer during our walks in the bassinet. It’s great!
