Not easy to use
You need 2 free hands to open or close this gate. The ad made it seem like you could open it one handed and that is not the case. You have to work at the latch button and also make sure that it doesn't slap back too hard when it's retracting. The installation required some measuring, precision and drilling. Seemed like it would be a bit more trouble than some people might want to attempt, especially if renting.

Pain but works
Who ever said this was easy to install LIED. It’s very annoying and confusing to install. But I got it installed. Only used a few pieces but it’s up & sturdy. I guess we will never move bc doing that again is out the picture.

Easy To Install
Super easy to install, with the wall guides to show where to place the screws, etc. Plus, very simple to use. Keeps my doggies out of my laundry room amd away from the cat litter box!

poor design
the netting is stapled to a piece of paper slipped in a groove. so when the dog jumps on it the staples just rip out. dont waste your money

Broke in a month by a one year old lol
Cheap 1/8" plastic peice secures the top locking mechanism. Cheap.

More sturdy than I expected.
It holds back my 2 37lb beagle bullies. Not difficult to install. Has to be screwed to both sides of the wall though so I decided not to put it on the wainscoting.
